Nurse your Spirit
What an inspiration!!! You are en-couraged to visit http://www.nurseyourspirit.com/
To nurse is to care, to protect, to nurture; it is a lunar word. This verb belongs to the domain of the Moon and this luminary invites us to 'feel' our protecting, caring, and maternal instincts. It is imperative that we all set out intentions to 'nurse our spirits' during 2011. Allow me to elaborate, in astrological terms, the reason why we need to be re-minded to nurse our spirits so that we can keep our energies balanced.
As the expansive and benefic energy of Jupiter enters fiery Aries on Saturday, January 22,2011, we'll all feel that our pioneer archetype is activated. We'll feel motivated to enjoy the freedom of our spirit. The spirit is the spark of the divine that decided to separate from the whole and spiral down to experience life as human being. The spirit needs to be cared, protected, and it needs to receive the proper nourishment so that the four bodies, physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual find their center.
Jupiter enters pioneer Aries on Saturn's day. The earthy energy of karmic Saturn teaches us to become more self-disciplined and responsible for our life decisions, Saturn re-minds us to narrow our focus and to consciously make a serious commitment to manifest our heartfelt desires.
Saturn symbolizes "contraction," it teaches us that there are no shortcuts in life. Jupiter, on the other hand, symbolizes "expansion," it teaches us to go beyond and to transcend our Saturnian self-imposed limitations. The balance between these two opposing energies would be the pulsing, the rhythm, the breathing of the universe and our own personal way of breathing life into our bodies.
Let me invite you to take a deep cleansing breath so that you are able to "expand" you unique spirit, and then breath out so that you are able to "conserve" and focus your inner energies on your task at hand, and again in-spire, in and exhale, out......
Prominent Buddhist monk, poet, and pacifist, Thich Nhat Hanh wrote this beautiful poem that reminds us to keep our 'spirit' in present time:
Breathing in, I calm my body and mind.
Breathing out, I smile ;-)
Dwelling in the present moment I know
This is the only moment.
The spiritual warrior in you will be eager to emerge sharing pioneering ideas with the rest of us, please take the time to listen and to 'nurse your spirit.'

~Happy Full Moon partial Lunar Eclipse weekend!
Please follow your intuitive guidance, (I am ) listen to your inner voice and do follow your heart. It is time to anchor in our 4th chakra (heart). It is time to remember that we are all ONE heart!
What we project onto the world will, sooner or later, be reflected back to us so a great idea is to assume responsibility for our own actions-reactions by staying in the present moment.
Another great reminder is to simplify our daily living, and to remember the answer to this question: what is really important now? What is essential?
Let's breathe easy........in.....out allowing the power of this partial lunar eclipse to help us let go of outworn emotional patterns and fears and to embrace the love of the creator.
~Many blessings to all of you as your spiritual path unfolds in miraculous ways channeling only peace, love, joy, and light-filled thoughts.~
Embracing the New and the Uncertain
We are living unprecedented times and change is imminent. As electrical Uranus entered pioneering Aries on Thursday, May 27, we are likely to experience a spiritual revolution. Uranus, the so called God of Chaos by the Greeks was castrated by his son Saturn who severed his genitals with his left hand. His genitals fell in the ocean and from its foam Aphrodite was born. Aphrodite/ Venus is considered the Goddess of Love and Beauty who rules music and the arts. From this mythological story we can perfectly see the correlation between chaos and creativity. Chaos symbolizes the free and unbounded space from where creation emerges.
The mythic God of Chaos, Uranus, rules revolutionary events, metaphysics, astrology, lightning, electricity, electronics and the internet. This God also has domain over the en-light-ening ‘a ha moments’ when we spontaneously feel how events that transpire/d in our lives tend to have a more spiritual, more encompassing perspective. The big picture is given by expansive Jupiter, the ruler of the guru within. Adventurous and eclectic Jupiter entered Aries on Sunday, June 6 to join Uranus' journey through fiery Aries and allowing its energy to find physical expression among us, sweet sparks of the divine who are inhabiting this precious planet.
Are you ready to allow your 'rebel' archetype to express its creative energies in a completely un-heard-of way? Are you ready to participate in this action-oriented and en-light-ening period. As metaphysicians, we really need to remember to open up our com-passion-ate hearts and come from a soulful internal fire can become really intense. Techniques such as conscious belly breathing can help us calm the talkative mind enjoying being fully present and aware; this practice can also enhance our intuitive skills.
The period that goes from Saturday, June 26 to August 21 also presents itself to be particularly intense. So allow me to describe the possible Unconscious behaviors some people may experience: impulsiveness, lack of patience, rebellious attitudes can tend to become aggressive, emotional turmoil, poor judgments due to feeling over-optimistic. Conscious behaviors some of us may experience: new, original ideas are likely to be born, strong intuition or instincts are likely to be developed by people becoming more interested in spirituality and metaphysics. Independent, pioneering action and decisive leadership attitudes are cosmically supported.
On a more mundane level: all this intense fire energy may cause lack of water, dry conditions, and high temperatures. And since 'necessity is the mother of all inventions,' as they say, pioneering inventions may come to light. Uranus also rules the innovative nature in all us that can be enhanced by practicing meditation, conscious breathing, yoga, walking in nature, gardening, writing, or listening to your favorite piece of music while 'moon journaling.'
And speaking of light, I will invite all of you, your friends and relatives to embrace these new energies, this uncertain period with as much loving-kindness and heartfelt compassion, allowing your own rebel, your own adolescent archetype to emerge in an assertive and independent way taking into account the highest good of all concerned.
Just remember that when we are energetically ready, we set the Law of Resonance in motion attracting to our lives synchronistic events, people, books, ideas …that will soulfully bring us a sweet dose of light-filled surprise.
Wednesday, April 14, 2010
Wednesday is the day we honor the divine messenger of the gods, Mercury/Hermes. The archetype of the communicator has important news to share today.
This special Wednesday, April 14, is the beginning of something beautiful and new!!!! The Sun and the Moon are close together again in pioneering Aries. The fire of Springtime is already visible, the aromatic, rainbow-colored flowers are uplifting our moods and we are so ready to celebrate the beginning of the new astrological year. Wow!!!! ;-)
The Moon is the fastest-moving heavenly body. At 3:55 p.m. she will be visiting earthy Taurus inviting us to seriously plant our 'seeds of intention' while gardening, while becoming practical and down-to-earth.
If gardening does not appeal to you, just remind yourself to cut or buy some colorful flowers and place them indoors, you can also buy a cute potted plant. Since we are conscious beings we can celebrate Earth Day everyday. Ecology is very important right now as focused and taskmaster Saturn is revisiting the last degrees of health-conscious Virgo. What a wonderful opportunity to take care of minor and practical details that can make your daily living much easier and fun.
It is time to have the courage (heart) to move forward, it is time to own your power!!!! Trust your lunar intuition and like mythologist Joseph Campbell says: "Follow your bliss." ;-)
On April 19, Chiron, the archetype of the Wounded Healer, enters spiritual Pisces waking up all of us who were born between 1960-69!!! It is now time to wake up and smell the double-delight red roses. mmmmm so sweet while channeling loving thoughts!!!!
~Blessings to all of you as your spiritual path unfolds channeling only peace, love, joy, and caring thoughts. ~

Waning Moon
You have a whole week so.....get busy!!!!
Another interesting cosmic reminder:
Today, April 7th Karmic Saturn re-entered health-conscious and detailed Virgo. What a great opportunity to take this time for personal as well as professional development. This focused archetype is giving us enough time, until July 21 to improve and purify ourselves, so:
A great idea is to meditate (Pisces) and listen to our own inner voice or to ask our own spiritual guides about which other step, technique/s, strategy/ies, detail/s, we might take and observe in order to continue this alchemical journey called life.
For those of us who practice Emotional Alchemy while gardening, I will include some organic tips I learned along the way. I am already growing tomato plants, celery and green onions coming out of my compost!!!! ;-) love to bury things in pots and I quite enjoy to be surprised by nature; death is a re-birth and all my plants come back to life sooner or later, sometimes as nourishing soil for the green leafy veggies and sometimes they push up in between other plants to enjoy being alive. Like the Chinese Elm trees planted along the block, they want to live!!!! They are pretty invasive, I find them in every pot I have.
Lavender-scented, high frequency blessings.
Namaste,

~Happy Full Moon on a Moon-day!!!
The affirmation that illustrates these opposing forces is:
"I lovingly assert myself."
The Moon is transiting 'the peace at all cost' Libra sign and these natives find it quite difficult to express what they really need. The Sun is transiting the opposite sign, aggressive, fiery Aries and these natives also find it hard to express their needs in an assertive way. What a lesson to find the balance between these two!!! It is not about me (Aries) and it is not about you, it is actually about us (Libra)!!!! It is about living in the spirit of cooperation and partnership giving birth to the whole which is greater that the sum of its parts.
Karmic Saturn is in its retrograde period reminding us that in order to achieve harmony in relationships we need to remain focused in the here and now practicing 'ecological strategies' allowing the energy to flow by letting go of the stagnant low energy thought forms. It is imperative for all of us to practice 'intentional communication' . We need to learn to communicate to one another in a more compassionate way because we are all suffering right now. This is a new language, it is the language of life!!!! And as the goddess of love and beauty walks next to the divine messenger of the gods in aggressive, fiery Aries, a more compassionate way of communicating our needs is much needed at this precise moment. Sweet Marshall Rosenberg describes en-lightening techniques to utilize to assertively express our needs. A non-violent way of communicating our message will definitely help us reconcile the opposing forces this particular Full Moon phase is cosmically presenting to us as a life lesson. You are encouraged to visit 'The Center for Nonviolent Communication' http://www.cnvc.org/
We get to choose, we get to practice the God-given power of choice. We enjoy free will, what a wonderful opportunity to choose to live our daily lives seeing others as a flawlessly reflection of our deeper selves and if we dislike what we see, we can always choose to pay a visit to our own underworld. We might be surprised, treasure lies deep within; we might find our lost inner beauty and strength while facing our fears. The gorgeous lotus flower 'springs' out of the mud.

Tuesday, March 23, 2010
Today is Mars day, as the goddess of the night is waxing in the diaphanous sky, she reminds us to take action; it is time to water the seeds of intention we planted during the New Moon.
Whether we are conscious aware of this or not, we all belong to the human family, we are all connected on a higher plane and we are now reminded to take a closer and more intimate look in the way we relate to one another. It is imperative for all of us to learn how to do 'business' in the spirit of cooperation allowing peace, harmony, and diplomacy to be part of our communicating skills!!!!
We are all together giving birth to a new way of living our daily lives in which respect, tolerance, and freedom of expression are essential ingredients to this new recipe. Spirit is evolving and we are all co-creators, we are all active participants. It is necessary for each one of us to assume responsibility for our own emotional re-actions. There are many techniques we can learn and put them in practice on a daily basis that will keep us balanced and in spiritual perspective, belly breathing is one of them, engaging the abdomen (the lower chakras) while allowing the body to calm down, to release toxic emotions back into raw creative material. Color therapy is another amazing technique!!!! Choose the color that makes you feel centered, calm, and enthusiastic about life and breathe it in and 'bubble' the whole of you with that color, red is not recommended, unless you are in need of vitality or you need lots of energy to perform a physical job, but if it this color does come up just envelope it with blue so that you can make the spiritual purple color. I will continue elaborating on these creative techniques that will help you stay in the present moment, a 'precious' moment that is ever new and creative.
The Moon rules the sensitive and emotional element of water, it rules e-motions and also food, so please treat yourself to a healthy snack, you deserve it. ;-)
We, more conscious beings, are the ones teaching by example, so dare to be the 'love' you want the world to 'feel.' Your unique, sweet and loving energy is very much needed.

~Thanks for all your encouraging comments you sent to my email address: mooncycles@sbcglobal.net ~ I will, slowly but surely, answer the questions some of you emailed me and are eager to read.
Today is Venus's day, a good day to put the Law of Attraction into practice. Let's attract to our lives everything we desire to experience. Before I elaborate about how sensitive Piscean energy can be accessed through meditation, through feeling oneness with all there is, allow me to tell you that there is some amazing pioneering energy ready to be utilized by all of us, more conscious beings!!!! So, let's focus our intention on what we really want to attract in our lives.
On Tuesday 15, the Moon and the Sun got together again to start this Pisces New Moon cycle, they were not alone, they were accompanied by talkative Mercury and freedom loving Uranus. What a wonderful opportunity to talk about how being ONE with all there is makes us feel. When we dive into the energy of Pisces, we have the most amazing opportunity to paradoxically 'come full circle', to feel that we are all one and at the same time, we are all individualized souls.
Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac, the 12th sign that represents coming full circle, coming home to oneSelf; returning to source energy, allowing all our emotions to be dissolved. The unfathomable sea of consciousness has no boundaries so enjoy diving deep into a meditative state, enjoying spiritual ecstasy. In the 12th house we are given the amazing opportunity of practicing Moksa, the path of liberation and self-transcendence. The word Moksa means 'freedom', so let's accept the cosmic invitation and make the most of this Piscean Moon cycle by allowing ourselves to experience spiritual freedom. The practice of Meditation allows us to breathe inner strength, it allows us to feel the presence of the divine within; that spark that seats in the 4th chakra, that seats deep in our hearts emanating unconditional love for the self and for others.
"I am floating in spiritual ecstasy."
"I am feeling one with all there is."
"I am one with the Universe."
"The Universe is in me."
Amen

I will, slowly but surely, answer the questions some of you emailed me and are eager to read.
Today is Saturn's day.
I am looking at the fact that there are so many planets in a water sign. Sun, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Uranus are transiting the sensitive and unfathomable sign of Pisces. How can we ground this divine energy?
There is a great cosmic invitation to exercise the God-given power of choice. What kind of energies do we consciously choose to channel? We are the ones who choose to manifest the lower or the higher expression of these energies.
Many human beings are facing too many daily challenges right now and are having a difficult time relaxing and enjoying a good night's sleep. During the day, their minds goes on overdrive and during the night their minds keep entertaining low energy thoughts. Due to the inability to stop the mind from chattering, many people decide to take medication in order to end their sleepless nights.
This sensitive, angelic sign, ruled by Neptune, the god of the ocean, governs the unfathomable wor ld of dreams. It also rules meditation, prayer, the angelic realm, and the different spiritual practices that we, human beings, follow in order to awaken to our true self.
This watery sign of Pisces also rules medication, addictions, escapism, illusion, and the feelings of being a victim of external circumstances when its lowered energy is channeled unconsciously.
If you were to consciously choose how to face your daily and your nightly challenges, what kind of energy would you enjoy manifesting, sleepless nights that don't even allow you to remember your dreams? Or.....
Do you think that you can become more conscious aware of your inner struggles and start applying the higher expression of Pisces? Are you ready to start engaging your conscious mind into life affirming poems, prayers of gratitude, and even diving into a guided meditation before going to sleep?
It is now imperative for all of us, human beings, to ground this water energy, this inner e-motions applying the many spiritual techniques available. The choice is always ours to make!!!! In order to ground our emotional energy, we need to become more self-disciplined, more focused, dedicated, and even more committed to cultivating a serious spiritual practice. We are all sparks of the divine having a human experience and hopefully consciously dreaming and manifesting this life into being.
Now, there is a Tsunami alert!!!! Each one of us is responsible to check our own inner 'sea of consciousness.'
There are techniques available, there are affirmations, prayers, poems, mantras, visualizations, and meditations available that can help you fall asleep and enjoy angelic dreams instead of sleepless unproductive nights.
Remember that when the student is ready, the teacher appears.
Are you ready to manifest the higher expression of this intuitive Piscean energy?

Capricon Solar Eclipse
Today is Jupiter's day, Thursday, and the Universe is inviting us to clean, let Go d of the non essential making room for the new to come to our lives. Please allow the energy to flow by dissolving and releasing old and out-worn behaviours, ideas, and repetitive low energy thoughts that need to leave your auric field as well as 'stuff' in your house, in your garage or in your office that can be used by others.
Tonight, at 11:11 p.m. Pacific Standard Time, the goddess of the night is wedding the life-giving Sun once again allowing us to start a new chapter in the way we relate to one another in the work place. Business-oriented Capricorn is an earth sign that reminds us to ground our divine energies into this daily ordinary reality. It is necessary to implement our working strategies from a place of integrity bearing in mind that, at a deeper level, we all belong to the same family (Cancer), we are all sparks of the divine having a human experience, co-creating our realities shining our unique, individualized light (Leo), sharing our innovative ideas (Aquarius) on how to be authentic and true to our deeper Selves.
Friday morning, Venus day, reminds us to set our intentions taking into account that our decisions affect others both in a positive and in a negative way. So please set your goals in a clear and affirmative way, plant your 'seeds of intentions' so that you can celebrate your personal inner growth work during the weekend of the January 29 when the reflective Sun's light will be visible in the night sky. The following are affirmations that illustrate this particular lunar cycle:
"I am the captain of my own ship that sails in a sea of e-motions."
"I am self-confident, self-reliant, and self-disciplined."
"I am grateful for all the opportunities I consciously attract to express my inner creative light onto this physical reality."
