As some of you may know, I am fascinated by the goddess of the night, the Moon. Its energy is as powerful as its wisdom whether the Moon is in its New Moon phase, reaching its fullness or waning. The Moon represents our reflective, emotional Self, our receptive feminine and nurturing energy. She reminds us that we are all mirrors to each other reflecting both our shadow and our light. The mysterious goddess can help us become more conscious aware of our inner gifts, talents, and abilities as well as our life challenges. Renowned Swiss psychiatrist, Carl Gustav Jung, said: "Your vision becomes clear only when you look in your heart. Who looks outsides dreams. Who looks inside awakens."
The god of war, Mars, challenges us to transform our anger and frustrations into creative endeavors. Fiery Mars presents us the opportunity to re-direct our energies so that we can transmute our aggressive, raw nature into a non-violent and harmonious one when we choose to become assertive. Mars entered the histrionic, fiery sign of Leo on September 19, 2010 and will remain here until 11-10-11. We are all given a wonderful opportunity to open our hearts and emanate com-passion-ate love. In order to accomplish this loving mission we need 'to learn' to take care of ourself first, we need to 'learn' to take care of our e-motions (energy in motion) because on 11-11-11 the willful, fiery god will enter analytical and down-to-earth Virgo.
The warrior will spend a long period of time challenges all of us to 'learn' humility, to 'learn' how to dissolve any leftover feelings of self-loathing and to 'learn' to dissolve any leftover fantasies of being perfect. Assertive Mars will remain in practical and precise Virgo until July 3rd, 2012 giving us plenty of time to become the best human beings we are able to be-come. The energy of Virgo is about being in service to humanity. ~Wow! What a cosmic treat! ;-)
Now it is the time to allow your deeper Self to follow your heart, to closely follow your heartfelt, loving thoughts, your soulful dreams. Now it is the time to embody your own natal archetypes, to feel our own Moon, your own emotions, to apply your own personal energy, to embody your own spiritual warrior.
"In the final analysis, we count for something
only because of the essential we embody, and if
we do not embody that, life is wasted." Carl Gustav Jung
We are here, incarnated, to fulfill our own divine mission, so it is time for us to give per-mission to actuate it. It is time for self-realization. The energy of the Moon nourishes us, shelters us and protects us. As poet Rumi wrote: " The treasure house can be found within your own soul."
Allow your Self to be grounded and centered in your heart... listen to your heart, it is whispering caring and loving thoughts. Lunar blessings to all of you. Namaste,

First Full Moon of 2011
Dear Soulful friends,
At 1:22 p.m. Pacific Standart Time, the Sun and the Moon will oppose each other. Another cosmic moment of culmination, illumination, and awareness.
The Full Moon brings light to the dark allowing us to be guided on our unique path. Today the goddess of the night re-minds us that we always have a choice!!!!!!
So let's seriously commit to shine our personal, unique light onto the darkness of this physical plane allowing our victim archetype to become Victorious!!!!!
Allowing ourself to 'feel' the whole spectrum of E-motions (energy in motion). Our emotions function as a spiritual GPS, but before acting on impulses that we might later regret, let's re-member to take a long cleansing breath in, find the center, find and feel that our heart is full of com-passion and wisdom and breath out loving and caring thoughts.
Affirmations:
I follow the guidance of my com-passion-ate heart.
I am healthy, wealthy, and wise.

Lunar time to take action
Sweet soulful friends,
As the Moon is waxing to reach its fullness phase on January 19, she reminds us that the time has come for all of us to release the victim archetype and to take more responsability for our emotional well-being. Let's make a serious commitment to cultivating inner peace. ;-) What do you need to weed out of your life in order to grow stronger and step into your own Personal Power?
It is time to take action, it is time to become more practical!!!! Keep watering the seeds of intention so that your inner colorful garden~ full of humming-birds and butterflies ~ will soon bloom spreading only aromatic love.
Affirmations:
I am the captain of my own ship that sails in a sea of e-motions.
I am self-confident, self-reliant, and self-disciplined.
I am dissolving my self-imposed limitations.
I follow the guidance of my loving heart.

New Moon Solar Eclilpse
What an extraordinary new beginning of year January 4th, 2011
This morning at 1:00 am, we experienced a Solar Eclipse, an invitation to 'seriously' plant our seeds of intention for not only this Lunar cycle, but for the whole year. The soil is fertile and eager to receive our seeds!!! So take the time today and tomorrow to either write, draw, or create a dream board with all your heart desires. Dare to dream big. What personal or professional goals do you wish to accomplish?
What unfinished business would you like to lend energy on and manifest during and throughout this promising, powerful, and amazing 2011???
The 'seeds of intention' you plant today will be watered, fertilized, nurtured, and nourished according to the Moon Cycles and I will be there to re-mind you, so dare to take the time to organize your thoughts so that the process of manifestation turns to be an easy and smooth one. Take the time to 'make the commitment' with yourSelf, only baby steps are required.

Nurse your Spirit
Rev. Lori Daniell., R.N., M.Div., Ph.D., Certified Practitioner, Reiki Master Teacher, is the founder of Nurse Your Spirit, LLC
What an inspiration!!! You are en-couraged to visit http://www.nurseyourspirit.com/
To nurse is to care, to protect, to nurture; it is a lunar word. This verb belongs to the domain of the Moon and this luminary invites us to 'feel' our protecting, caring, and maternal instincts. It is imperative that we all set out intentions to 'nurse our spirits' during 2011. Allow me to elaborate, in astrological terms, the reason why we need to be re-minded to nurse our spirits so that we can keep our energies balanced.
As the expansive and benefic energy of Jupiter enters fiery Aries on Saturday, January 22,2011, we'll all feel that our pioneer archetype is activated. We'll feel motivated to enjoy the freedom of our spirit. The spirit is the spark of the divine that decided to separate from the whole and spiral down to experience life as human being. The spirit needs to be cared, protected, and it needs to receive the proper nourishment so that the four bodies, physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual find their center.
Jupiter enters pioneer Aries on Saturn's day. The earthy energy of karmic Saturn teaches us to become more self-disciplined and responsible for our life decisions, Saturn re-minds us to narrow our focus and to consciously make a serious commitment to manifest our heartfelt desires.
Saturn symbolizes "contraction," it teaches us that there are no shortcuts in life. Jupiter, on the other hand, symbolizes "expansion," it teaches us to go beyond and to transcend our Saturnian self-imposed limitations. The balance between these two opposing energies would be the pulsing, the rhythm, the breathing of the universe and our own personal way of breathing life into our bodies.
Let me invite you to take a deep cleansing breath so that you are able to "expand" you unique spirit, and then breath out so that you are able to "conserve" and focus your inner energies on your task at hand, and again in-spire, in and exhale, out......
Prominent Buddhist monk, poet, and pacifist, Thich Nhat Hanh wrote this beautiful poem that reminds us to keep our 'spirit' in present time:
Breathing in, I calm my body and mind.
Breathing out, I smile ;-)
Dwelling in the present moment I know
This is the only moment.
The spiritual warrior in you will be eager to emerge sharing pioneering ideas with the rest of us, please take the time to listen and to 'nurse your spirit.'

~Happy Full Moon partial Lunar Eclipse weekend!
This particular intense, and exceptionally powerful Lunar phase reminds us that 'Emotional Alchemy' is a great practice that can keep us focused, light, and receptive so that each one of us can allow the spirit within to guide us on this journey called life.
Please follow your intuitive guidance, (I am ) listen to your inner voice and do follow your heart. It is time to anchor in our 4th chakra (heart). It is time to remember that we are all ONE heart!
What we project onto the world will, sooner or later, be reflected back to us so a great idea is to assume responsibility for our own actions-reactions by staying in the present moment.
Another great reminder is to simplify our daily living, and to remember the answer to this question: what is really important now? What is essential?
Let's breathe easy........in.....out allowing the power of this partial lunar eclipse to help us let go of outworn emotional patterns and fears and to embrace the love of the creator.
~Many blessings to all of you as your spiritual path unfolds in miraculous ways channeling only peace, love, joy, and light-filled thoughts.~
